 The most important  things you can have on your phone is your list of contacts.  It is frustrating  if all of your contacts got lost .

 

Some time they are deleted by accident and some other times it is because of the other software things people do like rooting in android phone and jail-breaking in iPhones . Some other times it is because you just can't find them where by you just need to restart your phone.

So here are some of those ways to recover your contacts that i have compiled for you .

Use A Pc (personal computer )

 Enable USB Debugging on your android

•   Go to settings
• Then Developer options
• Then touch the USB debugging tab .
•  Touch ok

 Connect phone to pc with usb cable 

• Start Scanning Your Android for Deleted Files

•  Click on the green button Next to analyze your Android data.
• You will see recoverable files in result page.
• Select files you want to recover, and then press Recover to save them to your computer.

 

 Your Contacts May Be  Just Lost

Sometimes it is the settings that can badly  go completely nuts to a point where you can’t even find your contacts and think you have lost them all.

So with this you can simply follow the steps i have put for you here

·       Open the “Contacts” app

·      Press on the menu in the top-right corner (three vertical dots)

·       “Contacts to display”

·       Then Select “All contacts” if it isn’t already

So it is simply that the“All contacts” was not selected but if it was then the problem is some thing bigger.

Recover Contacts From Gmail Backup

For this one to work well  you need to back up your data such as contacts from Android to your Google Account so  you need to make sure that "Back up and sync" is on  which does the of the  data automatically to Google Account. 

·       In order to recover the Gmail contacts, please sign into your Gmail and then go to your inbox.

·       Choose "Contacts" from the drop down menu on the left pane.

·       Click on More then Restore contacts.

·       On the pop-up window, you are able to restore the contracts within 30 days.

·        Choose the date and then click "Restore".

Here Are Some Steps You Can Follow 

Connect the pc and android phone with  a USB cable and wait for your computer to recognize the devices.

Tick USB debugging as the interface tells.  But you should note though that The methods  differ on different Android operating systems but it is all the same .

For Android 5.0 or newer: Tap "Settings" > "About Phone" to tap "Build number" seven times for "You are now a developer!" signal. Then, move to "Settings" > "Developer options" to turn on "USB debugging"

choose "Start" button on the next interface to go on.

An interface will pop up for you to select what to restore.

Since only contacts are to be retrieved, you  tick "Contacts" in order to save time.

Click Start .

Just wait a sec and a Superuser Request will show up on your phone.

Allow it. Sometimes the box may pop up more than once, click "Allow" until it does not.

And then, choose "Start" on your computer to begin scanning.

The result will be shown in the window as below. You can highlight one of them to see the details of your missing contact or existing one.

Note that The missing data are marked by red, while the existing data by black.

 Choose the ones that you want to get back and save on your computer, and click "Recover".
